One way that authors can show what they want to ridicule society is by making it a major or minor topic in their book. What Ray Bradbury does in this book along with many other things .Is he puts things that he thinks will put futuristic things in his book to mess with the society today. Like he puts these jet cars in the book that move very fast and that correlates with the 200 feet billboards. He shows that with this technology not jet cars but you know like smart phones and they wont know about the society around them. It is not going to be as extreme as then the government can take control of us and we wont know whats around us. Then you think to yourself oh i am never going to get wrapped up in that stuff but it doesn't have to be technology it can be anything that you find really amusing like the parlor walls a sport or your a drone when you go to work. I think that is one of the best things that Bradbury does throughout the whole story.
Another thing that I loved that he had such a mind to think of these things that some people in this era have no intention of having these luxuries. Also how he makes Clarisse say that here is a man in the moon ans when Bradbury had written this book they were not even in the process of that even happening.Even today it is still a big leap to get to the moon because so many attempts have failed before. But to even think about it before the possibility has even been close to happening. I also like how he shows how Mildred is the final stage of what the government was trying to do to there citizens. Her mind is just destroyed and she is to distracted by the parlor walls. I also have a theory about the guys who pumped blood into Mildred. Just the night before that Mildred tried to commit suicide and then she gets her blood pumped back into her and she is all fine. I think that there is something that is int hat blood that gets the citizens back into the "regular" regime but not be totally cleared of the mind to see how terrible the society is.
Another big part of the story is Beatty how he has the paradox of being this guy who loves this job and understands the reason for burning the books. Then he provokes Montag to kill him because he hates the society that he is living in. I was pretty sure that he was reading books to because he would always tell Montag about how books were bad and then quotes books. Then how he provokes Montag to go and kill him. It shows that even that the most " motivated fireman " wanted to escape society. All in all this is an amazign book and all of you reading it should read Farenheit 451 .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBkJjHVeqow
