Catching Fire

I read the book Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. I loved this book for many reasons one of them was how they had used imagery in the book. Like when they describe the setting when they tell you what the cornucopia looks like or When Finnick comes out of the water and it just describes how the saltwater tastes and how it looked it was amazing. Also how she does characterisation she had mostly used direct but i liked it better when she had used indirect because she could describe them better. When she described finnick when she showed how aggressive he was in the arena and how he would just walk und like he was the best out of everyone you could tell what kind if guy he was. There is a work for it but I don't really think that my teacher would like that. The action was one thing that also got methrough the arena and get into various traps like the acid rain in the jungle that would just devour you. Or the noises that you could hear at the certain part in the arena. It had made the book a whole lot better to read then when they were just in district 12. I mean some stuff had happened there but in my opinion i don't really think it was as suspense full as it was in the arena. I like that it has sort of an underdog sort of theme like no matter how small you are you have to stick up for your rights. Mostly this is showed in the effort for rebellion but she is getting followers and more support to beat the capital. So the reasons I like this book are the action suspense and the imagery.
